Parental Controls Help
Please help. I purchased Marathon to play with my son, he is 12, we used his date of birth on account creation (now i realize i should have used an older date just to bypass all this mess). i have verified im an adult and am attempting to approve his multiplayer through parental controls in my settings>parental controls.
all i can do is select his name, and the system takes me back through the authentication process to verify im human with Kids Web Services.
I've tried to update his date of birth on his account to just use an older date and the data request signs him out every time. and we are unable to just update his date of birth so we can simply play the game together. We've been waiting to get this going and now we cannot play.
please, please, someone in Bungie help, help me approve my sons multiplayer permissions or allow me to update the date of birth on his profile so we can get past all this and play the game together. i took off work for two days so we can play.. and now we cant do anything.

Young players (aged under 13, or their country’s age of digital consent) will need to link their account with a parent, guardian, or other responsible adult’s account in order to access certain features, such as joining text or voice chat. The parent, guardian or other responsible adult needs to have a Bungie.net account and verify that they are an adult.

We are linking through Steam. there are no parental controls disabling him from playing multiplayer in steam.
The parent, guardian or other responsible adult needs to have a Bungie.net account and verify that they are an adult.
i have done this. i have a bungie account and have verified i am an adult. Once i verify im adult the system just loops back to parental controls and
He is listed under "My Family Members" and the blue button to the right of his name just says "accept". i click accept and the process loops again.
I have a screenshot but dont want to share his username in a public forum.
Is there a way i can please just update his date of birth or can you please help me approve his parental controls? if we cant fix this ill have to refund the game and we really want to play together. trying to get this figured out.
If we cannot get this corrected, we will refund the game and leave a review stating why. the whole reason we purchased Marathon is to play together with my two sons. Please help me approve his parental controls or help me update his date of birth so we can play together.
