Need help getting past title screen W:8:000003EE

I have been stuck on this screen since last night and i hoped going to sleep would resolve this issue but it hasnt. I need someone from marathon to help me please ive been trying for hours last night and now to try and fix this. things ive done are

  • uninstall/reinstall and reverify game files

  • tried to run with windows defender off

  • tried to use a vpn

  • ran steam as admin

  • disconnected modem and checked all connections

im not sure what else to do. im so frustrated that i couldnt even play cryo on the last day. someone please help. thanks

    Thanks for reaching out.

    Could you try the following troubleshooting steps:

    1. Try a completely different network

    • If possible, try launching Marathon once using a mobile hotspot or a different home or office network (no VPN).
    • If it works there but not on your normal connection, it points to an ISP/router/NAT issue rather than your PC or account.

    2. Fully rule out VPN / overlays / extra security

    • Make sure VPNs, network accelerators, and DNS “optimizer” apps are fully closed (not just disconnected).
    • Temporarily close overlays and injectors: Discord overlay, NVIDIA/AMD overlays, RivaTuner/MSI Afterburner, Overwolf, etc.
    • Double-check that both Steam and Marathon are allowed through Windows Firewall (or any 3rd-party firewall), not just Defender turned off.

    3. Windows & network sanity checks

    • Confirm Windows date/time and timezone are set to automatic (incorrect time can break secure handshakes).
    • Open Command Prompt as admin and run, in order:
      • ipconfig /flushdns
      • netsh int ip reset
      • netsh winsock reset
        Then reboot your PC and router and try again (without VPN).

    4. Please reply with:

    • Country + ISP
    • Whether you’re on wired or Wi-Fi
    • Whether other online games on Steam work normally right now
    • Whether the game behaves any differently on a mobile hotspot / other network
