Frequent hard crashing

Xbox Series X
Random crashing, turns console completely off. Multiple times a session, lost so much loot. Game is currently unplayable and a waste of time for me.

Nothing unusual. Turn on console, launch game and queue up with friends via crossplay. We use Discord for comms. Friends are on PlayStation and PC. They never crash, it’s always me. It happens every day, at least twice if I don’t give up on playing after the first crash. Emotionally exhausting.

I'm am have the exact same experience..an Xbox series x user, all others games I have work perfectly fine for several hour long sessions no crashing but marathon will crash multiple times and go to dashboard- a few times even shutting my Xbox off.. crashed 10 minutes in to my first game session of the day. Honestly love the game but the constant crashing is ruining my experience
Agreed. Paid for the deluxe edition. Losing loot in real life and in the game. The only other title I’ve had such a severe issue with on the Series X is BF2042 and it took them 2 years to fix it. It’s a common problem with certain batches of the Series X (happens to my friend’s Xbox as well, and we got them in 2021 I think?) but it’s hard to accept that when only specific titles seem to trigger the hard crash.
But for example Warzone, BF6, Destiny 2, Forza H5, The Finals, Cyberpunk, Halo, no issues.
Hard crash 9:36pm EST. Dire Marsh, crossplay.
Same exact issue. Even bought a new power cable yesterday and it still happened after a while. It’s not the Xbox because no other game does this.
Same thing happens. Game crashes as soon as I get into a firefight or loot something nice. It’s ridiculous.

Froze about 20 minutes ago in Dire Marsh, relaunched and just hard crashed from the lobby while in my vault.
Finished deep cleaning my xbox about an hour ago. Took out the fan, disc, heat synch, made sure it was spotless. *sigh*

Duos in Outpost, freeze, quit app, launch, 5-10 mins of gameplay and crash just before exfil. Seems like duos is now causing lag and hard crashing.

Got to step 6/6 Run/Hide contract completed the objectives, crashed at the guarded exfil and lost all my progress.
Can’t keep doing this.
Lost 9k worth of loot on outpost because the game just happens to hard crash during a fight. I wish we had a ski button for the intro to speed up the process of getting into the game. Almost a month into this game and it's making me want to just run free kits. This is also on series X
Same as above users. Most consistently crashes on outpost. Makes the map basically unplayable. I'm sure cryo is even worse.
Xbox series X just shuts off. It happens randomly and usually just as I go into combat. Has also happened at random times in all maps. Xbox is cooling system is 100% clean. Luckily I just turn it back on and boot up marathon and it will put me right back in with my team unless we got killed. Super frustrating. Game has already been uninstalled and re installed. Please fix this.
