Marathon Crashes with no warning after a momentary freeze (Patch 1.0.0.4)

Was hoping for this patch to resolve a series of crashes I can't seem to avoid while attempting to run this game.

I can get into the main lobby fine about 80% of the time. But during a run, my game will freeze for a moment and then close to desktop. I don't what is causing it after going through all the recommended diagnostic methods (reinstalling BattleEye, reinstalling the game, turning off overlays, etc) to no avail.

 - Update:
I had a look at the Windows Reliability Report, and it seems I'm receiving a hardware error (namely 141) which cares about the GPU failing. Now I know for a certainty that I have it installed properly, drivers up to date, and haven't done any overclocking that could cause it to fail. This is the only game that is getting caught up on this issue. No other game I play has ever done this before. What gives?

Any kind of help would be appreciated, I'm missing out on all the fun :/

System Specs:
CPU: Intel core i7-8700K @ 3.70GHz
GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 (8GB)
RAM: Corsair Vengence Pro 32GB
Motherboard: ASUS ROG Strix Z390-E Gaming
OS: Windows 10 Home Edition (ver. 22H2)

    Hi there,

Thank you for reaching out and for reporting this.

If you are able to replicate this or encounter it again, please use your platform's capture button to take a video of the crash to desktop. You can upload the footage to a public video hosting site, like YouTube, then post the link here and we’ll be glad to take a look.

  • This is happening very frequently for me. It’s crashed to desktop on me multiple times today and twice it’s crashed my whole pc into a restart.

  • Hi there, I was able to capture footage of the crash this morning. Prior to the recording, I had crashed 3 times before getting a more clear shot of what's going on: https://youtu.be/Hk2p9c8r2Jc

adding onto this about 13 hours later. I reinstalled the game and received error code: broccoli

  • Hi there,

The Error Code: BROCCOLI is the result of a GPU driver crash.

Please try updating your graphics card drivers, or rolling back to a previous set if this occurs on the latest update. If the error continues, please double-check that the game is not using an onboard GPU in your GPU's control panel settings.

  • I missed some context here. Error Code: Broccoli has only appeared maybe 10% of the time when these crashes occur, it just so happened to appear after a reinstall. I'll check that onboard GPU is disabled when I can and report back, as that is the one thing I didn't consider checking. But from memory, it isn't.

  • My PC does not possess an intergrated graphics card, only the 3070. So Integrated Onboard Graphics was disabled the entire time.
