Hammer/Anvil codex quest doesn't work

I have done this codex quest twice trying to get the title and both times it haven't worked, I've melee killed someone then I've downed another with a flechette grenade twice. In two separate runs, if Flechette grenades don't work then it needs to be more clear with the wording of the challenge. Both times this quest has been done on Outpost. At this point I'm tired of spending so much time trying to get this done its really irritating me. Either it doesn't work or the wording for the quest is misleading. Fix this and give me my codex entry please i don't want to keep doing this its very unfun.

    Hi there,

    Thanks for reporting! We're sorry to hear of the frustration this is causing.

    We've got a few questions:

    1. For the melee kill portion, did you use exclusively melee attacks on that runner? Additionally, did you use a finisher on them, or did you only use standard melee attacks?
    2. Have you tried using other grenade types, or only flechette grenades? If you've tried other types, do you recall which ones?
    3. If you try to complete Hammer/Anvil again and it doesn't work, could you please use your platform's feature to capture recent gameplay as a video and upload it to a public sharing site, like YouTube, so we can take a look?

    I've also had the same problem, Completed a run where i knocked and killed a runner fully with a frag grenade and another with a heat grenade ,later in the match i only used my knife to down and full kill the runner (they were all full health and didn't take damage from my team)

    Same for me. I've had two different games where I got a knife melee finish on a downed enemy, and grenade kills on other enemies. First game, the grenade kill came from an emp grenade. Second game came from a heat grenade. This challenge simply isn't tracking properly or something. Get's old very quickly.
