Occasional crashing when loading into match
- Bungie Account Name - ImaPopAnyway#0177,
- Platform - Steam, Graphics card is a NVIDIA RTX 2080ti, Processor is an AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D.
- Description of Issue - Sometimes when looking for a match, my game crashes to desktop with no error messages. I have not experienced any in-round crashes or otherwise. Just when searching for a game.
- Rough Date and Time of issue - It happened last today 2026/3/6 around 8:30pm EST, but also happened once before earlier today. Yesterday I did not experience this issue at all.
- Repro steps - Begin looking for match, and sometimes it crashes.

We're investigating reports of similar issues on AMD CPUs and are investigating to resolve this as soon as possible. In the meantime, please ensure your GPU drivers and Windows are up to date.
I have an intel i9-1300K with a 4090 and it's doing the exact same thing for me about every other match or every 3rd match. I reinstalled windows and every program from scratch (steam/battleye) Ran the game with zero other software installed. Did a chkdsk, RAM check, CPU check, sfc /scannow, reinstalled GPU drivers, Win11 is completely up to date, changed properties to run as administrator, checked/updated device manager for every device, and finally verified files and uninstalled/reinstalled game along with battleye software. From an administrator standpoint, it's starting to look like a Bungie or Battleye issue at this point. Not sure what to do but it's making me not want to play this game. This and D2 are the only games that do this for me...
