Performance on AMD build

My build is ryzen 7 7800x3d, 32 gb ram ddr5 , gpu RX 7700 XT 12GB. While most times i do get the FPS cap i set at 120, there are a lot of time that i get dips into 80 and more rarely 60 fps, which last for more than few seconds. I'm not 100% sure but on maps with weather effects have seen it more often.

    Hi there,

Thank you for the report. We're seeing a rise in reports about performance issues on AMD cards and are currently investigating.

  • Specific weather effect drop my max fps to 80 for the whole time in said locations. Also wanted to mention that while 80 fps isnt that bad , it doesnt feel smooth and that also happens at times when the ingame fps meter shows 100+ .

  • now with the release and further testing , changing the anti-aliasing currently on Intel Xess , i have much better performance for some reason.. Which is weird.. Maybe something wrong with the FSR implementation ? still native anti-aliasing level. also disabled discord overlay

  • After further playing around with settings and time played. I found that most stutters were cause by discord overlay. While that made the game smoother, the FPS count didn't go up much I'm still on 80-90 with some specific zones going up to 110 but the average is down then 80-90. I have dips to 60-70 but it's a bit rare and I feel like a mix of things, if I'm playing long enough or weather effects.
I would expect much better performance for my setup.. please emphasize on the performance of the game , it's a very big deal-breaker for many users!! For me it's playable but not at the quality of a triple A studio.. and I have a very above the average CPU.
