Alt + Tab breaks Cursor

When you Alt + Tab out of the game and try to go back to the game, it breaks the cursor. The only solution I've found so far is to Task Manager End it.

    Sorry to hear that you're experiencing issues with your mouse cursor while playing the game. We are aware of some third-party utilities that can introduce this problem. Try closing any screen sharing, screen capture, or screen measurement utilities.

     You can also try the following workaround to see if that helps resolve the issue:

    • If you are streaming while playing, could you try streaming the whole screen and not the Marathon game window specifically.
    • If you are not streaming the game while playing, or if the above doesn't work, try disabling the Steam Overlay by clicking Settings → In Game and then toggling off "Enable the Steam Overlay while in-game".

    Hi there!

    Thank you for your report. Are you using full screen mode? Did you have any applications, such as OBS or other screen capture applications open?

    I'm not the OP but I am using OBS to try and stream my gameplay and I get a the blue circle, but also not being able to move my cursor around in any of the menus.

    Yes, I am sharing my screen on Discord. Specifically, Im sharing the application not my full screen.

    Also yes, I have running the game in full screen mode. As of now, It seems to only break when I try to share my screen on discord.

    during the system setup my mouse sits as a blue loading circle, i can click out of screen to my other monitor, but when i come back the mouse still doesnt respond. Ive restarted the game, verified file integrity, and restarted my pc... Still an issue

    I am having the same issue. In fullscreen, I had steelseries running in the background because I clip in other games, when I saw this thread I close that. Currently have no screenshare applications ongoing and I still have the same issue. In fact, it just happened again without me even tabbing out at all.

    Edit: Tabbed back in after I posted this and at least for now, seems resolved. Can tab in and out without issue. Will post further updates if necessary.

    Edit to the Edit: Closing steelseries resolved the issue for me.

    I am having the same issue. No screen sharing or recording software. Windowed mode, Logitech G502 mouse. When opening an inventory in game my cursor appears for a split second before disappearing and I am unable to interact with items. Upon exiting can still aim/shoot.
