i cannot connect to the game from bahrain..

my game is infinitely loading whenever its connecting to servers.

i don't have an antivirus, i deleted the one vpn thats disabled to begin with, my firewall has the game allowed, i have done all the steps in some random video my friend sent me to fix it, cleared cache, restarted pc, validated game files, waited 10 minutes to see if i somehow connect, restarted interrnet, restarted steam, disabled upnp (for some reason chatgpt suggested it) checked network issues, changed internet, idk what else i spent an hour trying to fix it. yes i also followed the steps that one post in the forum sent.

however, i reinstalled the vpn and with it i can connect. i have an alarming suspicion that i can't play the game from bahrain yet the game is available for purchase.
sadly if i disable the vpn after connecting i get kicked so now i'm stuck on 190-200 ping gameplay.
i can't think of anything else causing this except the idea that my location somehow doesn't have a server or region? don't know.

  • found the solution. it was to change my MTU to 1500
i had a different game that forced me to lower it.

for anyone who's having the same issue, paste this into your cmd as admin:

    netsh interface ipv4 show interfaces

this will display a list of connections, find the name of your wifi or ethernet (it'll say connected next to it)

then change either the ethernet or wifi using this code : (replace the word wifi for the name of your connection)

    netsh interface ipv4 set subinterface "Wi-Fi" mtu=1500 store=persistent
