All loot auto-dropped during successful exfiltration

I played a game where I killed another player for a contract, took his loot and successfully exfilled. I saved the clip and upon watching it; As soon as I stepped in the ring before the 10 seconds, all of my inventory started auto dropping while I was shooting at a robot. I wish I could have my loot back because I lost a cool gun and every valuable materials
