Subject: Shifting Focus from Repetitive Mission Grind to Core PvP Extraction
The Issue:
Currently, the seasonal reset of mission progress leads to "Mission Fatigue." Players are forced to replay the same PvE tasks every three months just to regain access to basic competitive gear (like Blue Shields). Additionally, this destroys squad cohesion in matchmaking: teammates often split up to finish individual quests instead of playing together as a tactical unit.
Proposed Solution: Persistent Unlocks with Currency Resets
  1. Permanent Gear Unlocks: Once a player completes a mission to unlock a specific gear tier or weapon in the shop, it should remain unlocked permanently across all future seasons.
  2. Seasonal Economy Reset: At the start of a new season, only the Currency (Credits)Stash, and Inventory should be wiped.
  3. The Gameplay Loop: The primary motivation for extraction should be earning money. Players extract loot to build up their bank account, which they then spend to buy their preferred (already unlocked) loadouts for PvP.
Why this works:
  • It removes the repetitive "chore" of re-grinding the same missions every season.
  • It aligns team goals: instead of everyone doing different quests, the whole squad focuses on one goal—looting and extracting alive to fund their next fight.
  • It puts the focus back on Skill and PvP, making the game feel more like a competitive shooter and less like a repetitive RPG.
