Hi there,
Thank you for the report. We're seeing a rise in reports of crashes occurring on certain AMD components and are currently investigating.
INB4 PR-trained Bungie copypasta... Hey Bungie dev who responds to this thread, maybe acknowledge this one too: https://help.marathonthegame.com/hc/en-us/community/posts/47149055009556-Persistent-Error-Code-WEASEL-Exhausted-All-Troubleshooting-Appears-Server-Side
The main similarity between our systems is the AMD X3D processor. I wonder if it's something to do with the expanded cache of the X3D. My crashes feel like crashing from caching shaders but I get nothing in the logs to say one way or the other
I'm getting UDP packet loss from Bungie's end. My hardware is fine..
I have the exact same problem. Yesterday everything worked fine.
I also have x3D processor. Ryzen 5700x3D
The game launches, i click start, the login animation starts and then the game freezes and crashes.
On my gf's PC which is located in the same apartment, the game launches fine
I also have a Ryzen 7 5800X3D and my game closes by itself when starting, right before entering the lobby. Has anyone managed to fix this? Maybe there is actually some issue with X3D CPUs.
Obs: The game was working normally for me just one day ago.
Ryzen 7600, 7900 XT, crashing to desktop every few games, no error code, just a quick freeze and then boom, desktop.
Latest patch did nothing.
No coincidence, feels like an AMD issue.
I posted this to a different game forum and I had responses saying the same thing. They're getting this exact crash scenario and have X3D processors.
Lord help us if we need to wait on AMD to fix this
