  I'm sorry to hear that you are seeing this error code. While we do not officially support Marathon on laptop configurations, if your laptop's specifications match or exceed our Minimum System Requirements you may still be able to play Marathon.
  
  Could you please try the following to see if it helps resolve the issue:

  • Fully close Marathon and reboot your PC
  • Verify or Repair the game files and launch the game again
  • Steam: Library → right‑click Marathon → Properties… → Installed Files → Verify integrity of game files.
  • Epic: Library → click the … on Marathon → Manage → Verify.
  • Run the launcher and game as administrator
  • Whitelist Marathon and BattlEye in your Antivirus software
