Login loading screen crashing to desktop
On start, game will load through the logos and "Click to login" splash screen. It will load into a first loading screen (the cube throbber in the center of the screen) and then into a second screen with the throbber in the bottom right corner. Afterwards the ambient sound will cut out and the game will crash. Unable to log in, adjust settings, or change any variable from inside the game. I have tried restarting, unplugging unused peripherals (I thought it may have been my HMD or my controller causing it), and reinstalling the game so far.
Platform: Steam
Date of issue: 3/11/2026 around 4:30PM pacific. Began after the most recent patch earlier today.

To start out, we'd recommend trying to verify the game file integrity through steam to see if it helps. If the issue persists, please ensure that all of your drivers, windows, and your BIOS are all fully up-to-date. Lastly, if those two steps don't help, please try uninstalling and reinstalling the game.
If you still run into the same issue despite all of this, can you provide us with a copy of your DxDiag? You can copy and paste it over one PasteBin and provide us with the link.

I tried your suggestion to update my BIOS and drivers, but am still running into the same crash unfortunately.
