Did not receive Marathon Twitch Drops after claiming them on Twitch

Hello,

I am experiencing an issue with Marathon Twitch Drops. I watched eligible Marathon streams with “Drops Enabled”, claimed the rewards on Twitch, but did not receive the items in-game on my Marathon account.

Here is what is happening in my case:

  • I played Marathon during the Twitch Drops event.

  • I watched the required streams and claimed the Drops on Twitch.

  • On my Twitch Inventory page, the Drops are clearly marked as “Claimed”.

  • However, the corresponding rewards are missing in-game on my Marathon account.

I have already checked and done the following:

  • My Twitch account is linked to my Bungie/Marathon account (on the Bungie account linking page).

  • My game platform account (Steam the one I use for Marathon) is linked to my Bungie account.

  • I confirmed on Twitch that the Drops campaign is completed and the rewards show as claimed in my Inventory.

  • I restarted the game multiple times and checked my in‑game inbox / cosmetics / inventory.

  • I also contacted Twitch Support, and they confirmed that the Drop has been claimed on their side and told me that the game developer is responsible for fulfilling the rewards in-game, and that I should reach out to the developer’s support team.

Despite all of this, the rewards have still not appeared in my account

The Drops in my Twitch Inventory marked as claimed.

  1. The fact that these items do not appear in my Marathon in‑game inventory / cosmetics.

Could you please:

  • Check whether these Twitch Drops were properly registered for my Bungie/Marathon account, and

  • Help grant these rewards to my account or re-trigger the delivery if possible?

Thank you very much for your time and assistance.

Best regards

    Hi there,

    Thank you for reaching out.

Players should be advised that in order to participate in Marathon Twitch Drops, they'll need to ensure that their Bungie account is successfully connected to their Twitch account no less than 12 hours prior to the start of any Marathon Twitch Drop event. If a player connects any later, it cannot be guaranteed that their connection will be active in time for the scheduled Twitch Drop event.

If you were unable to connect your account at least 12 hours prior to the event, there is no guarantee that you will receive your drops.

For more information, please visit the Twitch Drops page.

  • Hello Bungie Support, I have the same issue, I did not receive the items though they appear as claimed in Twitch. I did link my account at the start of the event, not prior unfortunately, even though the event lasted for a couple days, does that still mean items will not be sent?

    Thanks for the help
