Marathon keeps shutting my game off
This game has been constantly causing my console to shut off I can’t play for more than an hour it’s only this game I cleaned the whole thing I’ve rebuilt the database cleared my cache all of it and it just causes my fan to just stop or something and boom my console shuts cuz it’s too hot please there’s gotta be a fix because it’s not my console when marathon is the only game doing this I enjoy this game

I'm sorry to hear that you are having issues with the game stability when to launch the game.
Also, please make sure your console has good ventilation. Overheating can trigger safety shutdowns that look like random crashes.
Same issue for me and I’m on a series x. The game will only actually start if I restart my console first
Season 1 my Series X was only crashing/shutting down my console on cryo and occasionally outpost. Season 2 it crashes on EVERY MAP. I have also done a thorough cleaning making sure there is ample room for the console to breathe and cleared the cache etc. This seems to be the only game that has this issue. Also having a new issue when I crash and try to reboot the game I get stuck on the splash screen unable load or login.
One solution that somewhat has been helping me is I have a small portable usb fan sitting on the top vent for supplemental cooling because the Xbox fan doesn't seem to be speeding up while under heavy load playing Marathon.
