Game won’t launch on Xbox series X

Whenever I try to launch marathon It gets stuck on the intro screen. The only way I can get the game to launch at all is if I restart my console which is annoying…. And If I can get the game running it will randomly quit out and shut my Xbox down, forcing me to restart it again…. I loved halo and destiny and was disappointed that both of those franchises are seeming to come to a close, and was excited to give marathon a shot. Pretty dissatisfied and disappointed that the game doesn’t even work.

I'm sorry to hear that you are having issues with the game stability when to launch the game.
- Completely power down your console, wait ~30 seconds, then start it back up.
- Check for and install any system updates
- Reinstall Marathon and Clear your console's cache (Please check out this guide)
Also, please make sure your console has good ventilation. Overheating can trigger safety shutdowns that look like random crashes.
