What components do I need in my PC for your game?
Hello Guys, no offense, but I need a NASA computer to get high FPS in the marathon. It's my favorite game right now, but it's not very enjoyable when your FPS drops to 40-45 during battles in the Cryo Archive. I thought my hardware was weak, but maybe my 4070 can't handle the marathon. Yesterday, I specifically bought a 5080 for the marathon, but my FPS didn't change at all. Can you tell me if my i5 14600 is weak for the marathon? What do I need to do to get a stable 120+ fps in the game? I've even read your official graphics guide, set the resolution to 1080p, and it still hasn't changed. The fps doesn't reach 110, staying around 100-103, and drops to 85-90 on 1440.

Hi there,
Thank you for the report in sharing your experience and system specs. Rest assured that performance tuning is ongoing!
Marathon is a CPU-heavy game, so even with a very strong GPU, performance in busy areas is often limited more by your processor and game simulation than by your graphics card.
If you haven't yet, we recommend checking out our PC Performance guide so that you can improve your PC performance when playing Marathon.
