PC players in console only lobbies

I’m on ps5 Have crossplay set to on And matchmaking type to console only Encountered a few games on march 9th where people on my team were playing on pc but showing up as a controller icon (likely playing through the xbox app). only noticed because people would be saying things like “oh sorry I’m playing on my laptop” and “I crashed to desktop and reloaded” If I had to guess, I think that Xbox app players on pc are treated as console players and get put in those lobbies.
