Do i need to spend over $1000 on a pc to play marathon?!

Hello,

I am writing to report significant performance issues in Marathon. While the gameplay is engaging, the current optimization is making the experience nearly unplayable. Despite running an RTX 5060, i5-14400F, and 16GB DDR5 RAM (6000mhz), I am only averaging 65 FPS in Outpost and 70-80 FPS in Perimeter/Dire Marsh even on the lowest possible 1080p settings. 

For a game with a 25GB footprint and modest visual fidelity, these numbers are unacceptable. For comparison, my rig achieves significantly higher frame rates in Cyberpunk 2077 at maximum settings. The constant sluggishness and input lag are severely undermining the game's quality. 

Are there known compatibility issues with this hardware, or is a performance patch currently in development?
