Text Chat Bug coinciding with connection issues and 'Weasel'

So each game session I play this happens at least once - basically what happens is that I'll open text chat and it'll have letters like 'awwddss wwwwwwsssdddd' pre populated in it which leads me to think that in the background, the game client thinks that text chat is open and it's recording my movement keys. Each time this happens, within a few minutes, my game client starts having a 'contacting servers' (or whatever it says) messaging on my screen which ultimately leads to a disconnect (weasel error). When the contacting servers issue starts, Enter will not bring up the chat box/dialog thing

In one match on Outpost I had this issue start but I managed to exfil prior to getting a disconnect. However, when this happened, I was unable to scroll through the post match screens because on the bottom left of the screen where the 'next' button is was covered with a '[Esc] Close Text Chat' message covering that button. Text Chat wasn't actually open and Escape or clicking it didn't clear the error

I have solid internet, NAT is open, all other online games (Destiny, Valorant etc.) all work well with solid network performance.

I'm not sure if maybe there's this text chat bug which is causing server issues due to a ton of key presses recorded WHILE my runner shell is moving around etc. - some sort of desync issue?

When I solely use voice chat and no text chat, I haven't actually seen this issue.

It's very unfortunate where I've lost at least one loadout due to a disconnect during a gunfight with other players. Here's the issue with the post match screen on display
