Upgrading your faction (at certain upgrades, specifically ones that give access to more available barters) REMOVES the low tier barters. Forcing you to spend credits.

There are many early game barters that are really useful due to how easily some of the items can be farmed, and how useful the items the barters give you are. For example, you can barter unstable biomass for patch kits and ONE sparkleaf for THREE shield recharges with NuCaloric. But once you unlock the blue shield charges, it removes the barter for the lower tier shield chages. Despite the fact the blue charges are one worth using if you have a blue shield, which you cant unlock until nucaloric rank 20. Why remove the barters that are still useful to me? And force me to barter with items that I still need, for items that I DONT need.
