Account Linking Issues Between Playstation and Steam
I have just purchased Marathon for both PS5 and Steam and am trying to enable Cross-Save, however it appears that a Bungie account was automatically created for Steam through Destiny 2, which is apparently different from the Bungie account on Playstation. I did not do anything in terms of trying to link the accounts before, but it already says that "These accounts cannot be linked, already linked to other game platform accounts", which I never did. Is there anything I can do other than just try to get a refund of the game from one platform? Edit: I am aware that unlinking accounts isn't possible, but this seems ridiculous considering I never actually created a Bungie account for Steam in the first place.

Thanks for reaching out.
In order to use Cross-Save, you will need to use the platform accounts that are linked to your Bungie profile. Refunding the game or deleting a platform account will not unlink the account from your Bungie profile. Once an account has been linked, it is permanent unless it is a Twitch account.
Due to mandatory security policy, Bungie is not able to remove connected platform accounts from Bungie.net profiles under any circumstances.
