I have been actively blocking damage while extracting at four separate occasions and it does not complete.

Could you provide a few more details to add to your report?
If you are able to replicate this, please use your platform's capture button to take a video. You can upload the footage to a public video hosting site, like YouTube, then post the link here and we’ll be glad to take a look.
Same here, I just blocked damage from a commander bot during an exfill and it did not count toward the mastery. Are we suppose to block player damage? It doesn't specify if that's the case considering other masteries explicitly say you need to interact with Runners.
Want to add on to say I can confirm it did not work for blocking player damage either. Challenge is broken full stop.
