Same, I didn't receive any Kits at all, not the "Veteran" (hit lvl 200 during Season 1) nor the day one issues free kits.  I have zero items in my mail.  Everyone one else I played with last night ...

As you can see in the compass, blue area is facing north, black area is facing south.
