It's been a while but this was fixed with the release of Season 2, I haven't encountered it again on my 9070XT + 5700x3d build. Thanks Bungie!

9070XT + 5700x3d running the latest driver (26.5.2), same issue here, I really hope this will be fixed asap as it kinda ruins the immersion aspect
