vault breaker exfil not working

After a failed attempt against fighting the compiler in vault breaker, me and my teammates ran with 12 seconds left on the clock to an exfil I activated earlier just in case. When we approached, there was no circle, but I assumed it was my PC lagging, but the countdown still started, without any visual or audio effects at all. Exfil did not work, 10 second countdown finished before timer ended. Lost nothing, but still losing sleep over my T2 vault data.
