Compiler kill did not award assassin skin

Played vault breaker, killed the compiler, even unlocked the vault breaker and cryologist codex entries, but assassin skin not rewarded. Bungie username was Pinwheel#8926. I am unaware if vault breaker compiler kills don't count, as this was my first time. If it does count, if I could still be granted the skin, I would really appreciate it, but it's okay if I can't.
