Game freezes on launch
Naglfar#7043
Steam
Game freezes on load screen, game will boot from Steam but freezes instantly on the first screen before the sony playstation intro. I was playing Marathon only 5 hours ago without issues.
I'm in the UK and unable to access Imgur to upload an image but it freezes on the dot matrix loading screen, no animation at all.
I have uninstalled and installed again, i have verified files, i have removed battleye folder to force a reinstall, i am out of ideas.
Thanks

Hello there,
Thank you very much for reaching out to us. I'm sorry to hear that you are having issues launching the game. If you haven't already, we'd start by asking that you ensure your drivers, windows, and BIOS, are all to date. If the issue persists, please try rolling back to the last stable GPU driver, to see if the issue persists. If the issue continues to occur, can you clarify if you receive any error code(s)? If so, which?
Issue resolved.
Everything was up to date, I rolled back my GPU driver then updated again.
I uninstalled and installed to a different drive.
Unfortunately I am unable to determine which solved the problem but all is well that ends well.
Issue resolved. Thanks for your help.
