Multiple error codes: WEASEL, YAM, CHICKEN, CENTIPEDE
Bungie account: Primotter#0169, Platform: PC (Steam), Timezone: UTC-6 (Central America, the region of the continent, not the USA)
I have been experiencing multiple appearances of the red banner "Connecting to Marathon servers", it stays for a couple of seconds and goes away, but it has exited me from the current run. This time was different in the way that I received the following error codes in this order: WEASEL, YAM (W:8;00002EE2), CHICKEN, and finally CENTIPEDE. Additionally, when interacting with contracts and the vault (completing contracts or moving items from backpack to vault) there is a noticeable delay from the audio queue (and the physical click) and the visual confirmation of the completed action.
I do not use a VPN, I have done the Networking Troubleshooting with no help. My home network has been restarted and I do not experience any other internet issues that might point to a ISP issue. Windows Defender already has Marathon.exe and MarathonLauncher.exe as exceptions (I had YAM appear after WEASEL once before).
This is the run in which I had all 4 error codes: https://youtu.be/tfK2R9JkGS4
I will gladly provide more information if necessary
EDIT: Forgot to add more details, connection is over Ethernet. UPnP is disabled but UDP Ports 3074 and 3097 are correctly forwarded in router.

Hello there,
Thank you very much for reaching out to us. I'm sorry to hear that you are so frequently met with all of these error codes. Most of these are indeed indicative of a connectivity issue. Yam as you may have known is sometimes caused by Anti-Virus software. If you use any other software, please ensure they have exceptions for the game and for BattlEye. In the event you've only attempted the Basic Network Troubleshooting that is sometimes only given, if you haven't already, we'd recommend going through our Advanced Network Troubleshooting Guide.
We'd also encourage you to check out the Help Articles we have for the error codes you're seeing, as they may offer some additional steps and insights into what may be causing this:
- Yam
- Weasel
- Chicken
- Centipede
