Ranked rewards requirement is unrewarding and punishes players time spent
This isn’t so much a bug as it is a major oversight and a slap in the face to players and their time spent.
I have never played a game where the ranked system only gives you cosmetic rewards for hitting the TOP division of that rank. With the fact that ranked is being removed/reworked for the next two months, this last season was the last time to earn cosmetics for what will be now seen as the “OG” ranked system.
With that being said, I ended the season at Pinnacle 2, (350k elo away from Pin1) and I won’t be getting a single cosmetic reward to show that I ever hit pinnacle. The top rank in the entire game, and the most I get is a Diamond profile picture.
What is the point of being in pinnacle at all? at the end of the wipe, the difference between being Pinnacle 3/2 and Diamond 1 is nothing. It feels extremely unrewarding to not be able to show off a profile picture, title, banner, or ANYTHING that I hit the TOP rank in the entire game.
