Your Servers Are Unplayable

The servers have gotten to the point that the game is functionally unplayable.

If this is not resolved as of the end of season 2, I will be requesting a refund via steam on the basis of utter failure to maintain the levels of QA and network quality necessary for the game to be played.

Sorry guys but this is just not acceptable in 2026. The idea that a major ISP in a major metropolitan area isn't providing a good enough fiber connection to play a game roughly as network intensive as Team Fortress 2 (2007) is laughable.

    Hey there,

    Thank you for your report.

We understand you're still experiencing connectivity issues in Marathon. We're sorry to hear of this, as we can imagine the impact of such issues. At this time, we have taken note of your latest report. If you haven't already done so, you may wish to consider performing the previously-shared troubleshooting. It can often help in preventing incidents such as this.

  • Having done everything in the troubleshooting guide short of wholesale router and cabling replacement, I have seen absolutely zero improvement. These issues began at the start of season 2 after being absent in season 1. They have plagued essentially the entirety of season 2 for me, causing nearly constant failures to hitreg, performance issues, and general dysfunction as I clipped above.
