Weekly login reward of 2x sponsored kits breaks loadout/bag state machine

When collecting the weekly free gift of the 2x sponsored kits, it somehow is able to put a sponsored kit in my bag unequipped, which completely breaks the state machine and causes me to be unable to equip items or buy things from armory to my bag. Ive tried switching runner shells, to rook and back, other menus and back, no luck.
If I equip a sponsored kit, it goes in my bag as an item, not equipped as a kit, but interestingly, if its in my bag as an item, suddenly everything works and I can equip stuff and buy from armory, but the second its removed, im locked again as if I had a kit equipped. If I equip a sponsored kit while already having a sponsored kit in my bag, it will replace the kit as if equipping a different kit while removing any other items equipped (expected behavior upon equipping a sponsored kit).
This leads me to believe that the claiming of 2x sponsored kits somehow allowed a sponsored kit to make its way unequipped into my bag which broke the state machine. I assume the logic for equipping and unequipping sponsored kits is purely centered around a kit coming in and out of your bag and assuming thats always during an equip or unequip action, however its apparently possible in edge cases that the kit can come in and out of your bag as an item and not as an equip/unequip action, which breaks the machine.
Attached below are two videos of the bug being tested (not the actual claiming event, unfortunately). The first video is just the stuck state and tests to unstick it, the second video is after I discovered the sponsored kit switching behaviors.

Repro Steps: Redeem the weekly gift for the week of 7/14, they should end up in your loadout unequipped somehow. I dont know exactly how it happened, but once you get to the point of redeeming and having them in your loadout unequipped, move them to your vault and you should be in the borked state.

For our investigation, could you kindly clarify whether you're still experiencing this issue? If you are, does Clearing the Download Cache resolve this? Please let us know and we'll continue our investigation.
Restarting the game fixed it, but man... I shouldnt have to be restarting my game left right and center. The bugs need to be fixed, not worked around. Its hard to bring new ppl in when half the gameplay is explaining to them how to get around bugs at every corner
