Yet Another Report of Solo Queue Being Unselectable
I know there are multiple posts about this. The other posts really aren't providing any relevant information or videos.

- Description of Issue - Unable to select solo queue, instantly reverts to trio queue
- Rough Date and Time of issue - 7/7, happy Bungie day! Only occurring since today's patch
- Repro steps - Not too sure... See video. When the patch first hit, I had an extremely frustrating run where this happened, I didn't double check to confirm that it in fact stopped on Solo because I saw the red !triangle flashes indictating no second and third runners could join me, got filled into trios with my favorite kit and some extremely incompetent runners and lost my kit near-instantly to a competent free kit team. After that, I put together a new kit, and had no problem running multiple Solo games. Then, as of about 15 minutes ago (5:10PM EST or so, give or take), suddenly it started doing this again, and I recorded this video.

I've seen it asked by Bungie on other threads if equipping a sponsored kit fixes the issue. I am unable to test this, as my vault is full, and my kit is full, and I am unwilling to part with anything in my inventory in order to test this. It's all purple shields, mods, bags, misriahs, outlands, circuit breakers, etc. Only parting with it if I die in a map, baybeeee!!!
I have tried restarting my game multiple times. I don't have anyone to queue trios with right now, and I am unwilling to queue with random trio fills right now, it's almost always a bad time for me.

Thank you very much for reaching out to us and for the detailed report. I'm sorry to hear that you are having issues with solo queue. We've received some reports of this issue and are investigating the underlying issue further.
Just a small update, I took a 30min-1hr break from the game, came back, and had the same issue. But then the second time I selected solo again, it worked. Then I selected solo again to double-check, and it default to trios again. I tried a few more times, and sometimes it reset to trios, sometimes it stay on solo.
I really don't know what got it to stay to solo. It seems to almost have a mind of it's own, or maybe be dependent on something server-side. Anyways, I did manage to get into and have a decent solo run. Fingers crossed I can queue into some more.
