Loadout Value Bug Works in Reverse
PLATFORM: Steam
SYSTEM INFO:
- CPU: AMD 5600x
- GPU: Nvidia 3080
- RAM: 16gb DDR4

- ISP Provider/Speed (upload/download) / Connection Type (LAN or wireless): AT@T
ISSUE: Others have noted that there is a bug where in some cases (unknown what triggers it) reduces your load-out value to 0 by swapping items in and out, unless you restart your game. I just noticed today that it can also work in reverse.
REPRO STEPS: Step-by-step instruction list on how to reproduce this bug, try to be as succinct as possible:
- It is unknown why you get the loadout value drop bug, but if it happens to you, swap high value items like weapon in and out of your vault to your inventory
- Vault value will go up. I do not know if this can grant you the Profiteer title, but I assume it would?
ACTUAL RESULT: My correct vault value is 781.6k Using the bug, I went up to 2.3 million vault value by just swapping gold circuit breaker and gold misriah in and out of my weapon slot.
EXPECTED RESULT: Decrease of vault value as according to what was removed or placed back, without infinitely scaling up.

NOTES: For context, I achieved Profiteer in season 1, so this bug had no bearing on acquiring the title with it. I only just discovered it on 7/6/2026 around 5:50 PM central time.

Thank you very much for reaching out to us and for the detailed repot. I'm sorry to hear that you are having issues with your vault value. While this may be related to the issue we are tracking with the loadout value, we've taken note of this thread and will continue investigating.
When quitting and restarting my game, it resets correctly. I have not tested it to see if it's possible to be exploited to achieve Profiteer or not.
