Need Gear refund because of server crash at 2:59 am PST
Was running duos outpost when me and my duo exfilled around 2:58-2:59 on July 2nd. We then experienced lag in going back to menu and were put into a forever loading of Continue Waiting or go back to lobby. Had multiple gold items and etc on me so really need to be refunded, because we got stuck in a continue waiting screen post exfil.

Thanks for the report.
This does appear to be a known issue. We’ve seen reports of players successfully exfilling, then getting stuck on the “Continue Waiting?” screen or being forced back to the lobby and losing their run rewards/loot instead.
So if you and your duo exfilled around 2:58–2:59 AM PST, then got stuck on the post-exfil Continue Waiting screen with no way to finish the run properly, that lines up with the issue that has already been reported.
We’re not able to restore items or progress lost due to disconnects, lag, or other connection issues. In cases where a qualifying server‑side error happens, any refunds that can be offered are handled automatically by the game systems, not manually through support.
In the event that an error occurs with Bungie’s server or network infrastructure, connection recovery may not be possible. We will attempt to ensure that any players affected by a server error will have their starting gear returned to them.
Gear refund only applies to a subset of server error conditions, and will not cover gameplay losses due to Internet connectivity or client-side problems.
How then can I have my loot refunded?
