NuCal Contract Paradigm Shift 2/5 invisible lasers

The second part of the quest has you go in a building south of Quarantine to interact with a terminal, The room is trapped with claymores and lasers for the quest but the lasers are invisible until you interact with the terminal.

I'm playing on Steam, was playing as a Vandal in Solos, spawned at the Quarantine/Maintenance spawn south west. I went in the southern Quarantine building before completing part one, where I have to go to Complex into a secured main room, and the claymores were there and got Hack/EMP'd for seemingly no reason walking through there. When I came later after going to Complex, doing part one, and coming back was that, after interacting with the terminal in the southern Quarantine building for part 2 all these green lasers appeared around me and they were there all along but had activated early without being visually activated by the quest.
