Gold Volt Thrower Appears Completely Silent (No Fire/Impact Audio)

Description of Issue –
Encountered an enemy player in a Solo raid using what appeared to be the gold Volt Thrower unique variant on Dire Marsh (Bio-Research). The weapon appeared to function normally (beam visuals, damage, tracking), however it produced no audible firing audio whatsoever.
No charge sound, firing sound, electrical discharge sound, or noticeable impact audio could be heard. Only the beam/projectiles were visible traveling toward/by the player.
This issue has also been observed previously when a teammate was using what is known to be the same weapon, suggesting this may not be an isolated occurrence.
I am not 100% certain the enemy weapon was the gold unique variant (enemy-owned weapon, visual identification only), but behavior matched a prior instance observed with a teammate using one.
No gameplay conditions appeared to affect the issue. The problem persisted:

Obtain or equip the gold Volt Thrower unique variant (suspected).

Observe weapon audio from opposing player perspective.

Weapon may produce no firing or impact sounds, despite functioning normally visually and mechanically.

The normal V22 seems to have this issue as well, I cannot hear the shots of my teammate
