Cryo vault 1 can be entered (sorta) from Index
Sorry for not posting sooner but I just now found the bug report stuff. Anyways it’s more of an exploit than a bug but you can enter vault 1 by going in the intended exit vent that leads to Index. This can be done easily by thief and is also possible on Vandal with a little help from teammates. Once inside, unless vault 1 has been opened, it is completely dark, but you can go up quite a bit to some entirely unreachable locations for any character other than thief or Vandal. I experienced this on the final day of Cryo ranked so I imagine it’s still in the game but I did not check for it thereafter
As for its use: in ranked thief players often brought numerous energy amps and simply stole items from other teams to meet their quota, hiding in various rat spots. Most spots were reachable but this one, like I said, is entirely 100% safe with no counter-play. It is all together unfeasible to push into this vent, and as such it’s an unfair advantage. I learned of this exploit because I got on a team with 2 thiefs who had been abusing the exploit all day
Furthermore, one can camp people coming out of vault 1 in an unfair way. I will say though, I do NOT believe you can actually go all the way inside vault 1 so it isn’t an all together game-breaking exploit. I do not have a video sadly but I can likely recreate this (and a myriad of other Cryo bugs) when Cryo re-opens today.
Also since I didn’t know about this report forum for a while I have like actually a ton of bugs I know of. I can explain them in more detail if needed. Not sure of the which need to be fixed, have been fixed, or aren’t fixed, but here are some other bugs/exploits I know of that to my knowledge have not been fixed:
1. Widespread Cryo laser exploit: can leave tranquility boss (any location), can leave pump boss (some spawns locations), and Panopticon colonist credential step. Can be used to leave immediately upon the step beginning. Literally 0-4 seconds depending on execution of exploit.
2. Compiler orbs can target people outside of the boss room, causing erroneous orb movement disadvantageous to people in the fight
3. (Happened recently so actually still a thing for sure) On outpost, moving from Flight Control to Processing you can get stuck if you try to climb a certain car and fall down when hugging the very inside. Happened to me on Vandal. Not sure if it’s stat dependent but if it is, I was max cradle agility, was not in my ult, had no implants on and no special vandal cores that would affect movement. I spent like 8 minutes there but couldn’t get out. Can probly recreate it if need be
4. Pump boss is delayed or doesn’t spawn at all sometimes
5. Thief can skip Biostock first room entirely by turning around and grappling up top
6. When high enough in Index first room (and likely also Cargo) ambient sounds shut off entirely
