Disconnected from Match: Error Code Yam

  • Description of Issue: Towards the end of my match, I began having a red banner across my screen that showed up and went away about 4 times over a one minute period. Upon arriving to the extract, I was disconnected with error code yam and unable to rejoin the match. I began the match at approximately 1002 PST.
  • Date/Time: June 9th, 2026 @ ~1025 PST.

As I was at the extract already and if it was due to an issue on the server side, can I get the loot back from my match? Thanks.

    Thank you for reaching out.

    We are investigating a rise in login and error codes affecting all Bungie games, Bungie.net, and the Destiny 2 API. While these errors appear to be dropping, we will continue to monitor the issue. Players may be placed in a queue when logging in again.

    While we're unable to manually return lost loot, we have a system in place that automatically refunds gear lost to a subset of server errors. Please note that this will not cover gameplay losses due to Internet connectivity or client-side problems.
