Controller input doesn't work

Hello, after the launch of season two my controller doesn't work anymore. I haven't changed anything on my end. Playing with the controller used to work perfectly but the game doesn't respond to controller input anymore. Weirdly, yesterday evening after some time in the menus using the mouse my controller worked again. It doesn't work now.

I also had the weird experience that the prompt for turning on the flashlight on night dire Marsh didn't work for a couple of minutes while the prompt was on screen. I kept trying the prompted combo but only after pressing escape on my keyboard did the button combination work and turned on my flashlight. (x + left d-pad)

• Platform - Steam
• Rough Date and Time of issue - Began 2/6/26
• Repro steps - Launch the game. I have no idea why it started working yesterday. I didn't do any real troubleshooting. Just relaunched the game and looked at the steam controller layout view.
