AMD RX 580 Graphics Issue – Black Textures
Hello Marathon Team,
We are now in Season 2, and the AMD RX 580 black texture issue still hasn't been resolved.
At this point, many RX 580 users are still unable to play the game properly. The only workaround that has worked for some players is downgrading the AMD driver to version 22.8.1, which is not a reasonable long-term solution. Running such an old driver causes poor performance, instability, and crashes in many other games and applications.
An entire season has already passed, and there are still a very large number of players affected by this issue. The RX 580 remains a widely used graphics card, representing a significant portion of the player base.
Please investigate this problem as soon as possible and either provide a fix or an official workaround. We would greatly appreciate an update regarding the status of this issue.

Thank you very much for reaching out to us. I'm sorry to hear that you are having trouble with the game using your current setup. While we do not have any updates to share, we've received reports of this issue and are investigating the underlying issue further. Outside of this, we can only recommend that you play on the older version as you've mentioned.
580 user here, dissapointed there is no solution yet. I've played the first season with older drivers, then it began to crash most of my games. A technician fixed it (part of the solution was newer drivers) but now I'm scared of downgrading my drivers because the same issue could arise. I'm unable to play since then.
It's sad because marathon is a really fun game but the reality is I just can't play it. If I knew this bug was never going to be fixed I would have asked a refund before reaching the playtime limit for it.
