Can’t add any new friends- I can’t accept. They can’t accept. It’s only me.
Anytime I try and add a friend I meet in squad fill- they get the friend request- they hit accept. But it doesn’t accept. It just stays in their request. Whenever someone tries to add me- it just stays in my requests no matter how many times I press accept. But the two other people im with add each other just fine so it’s some problem with my account. Any ideas on what I can do? I’ve met a lot of people in the last two weeks I want to play with again but I can’t add any of them. Bungie name is CaptainCook#2172

Thanks for the report. I'm sorry to hear you're running into this.
If friend requests are staying pending no matter who sends or accepts them, please first make sure that neither you nor the other player is at the Bungie friends limit. If either account is full, requests may appear to stay stuck instead of being accepted.
You may also want to try clearing any pending or outgoing friend requests on your Bungie Friends list, then sign out and sign back in before trying again. If available, please also test adding the same player through the Bungie app or Destiny 2, as that can help confirm whether this is affecting Bungie Friends on the account rather than just Marathon.
If the issue continues, please reply with your Bungie Name, platform, and any screenshots or video showing the request staying pending so we can continue investigating.

Hey- I didn't realize you ever replied. It's been another 6 weeks and I still can't add a single friend and no one can accept my friend requests. What do you need from Me to help resolve?
My bungie name is CaptainCook#2172- I don't want to clear the friends request list bc these are people I actually want to play with so if I press no or deny, I am afraid I will lose their name, if I press accept, nothing happens.
I am on ps5
I just tried accepting the friend requests in my bungie list online here and it still won't let me.
