Frag Grenade continuously damaged my shield from a single impact before exploding

I had a thief throw a frag grenade at me and I took impact damage from it more than once which drained my entire purple Shield and then the explosion of course killed me at full health. I suspect the Destroyer shells shoulder pad to have caught the grenade perhaps and cause multiple impacts, I am wearing the midnight decay skin on it.
This happened May 27th 2026 around 3:20 p.m. est
Repro steps would be crouch walk and aim using the M77 with the scope enabled as a Destroyer wearing the Midnight Decay skin and have another player (a thief shell in this case), throw a frag grenade directly at the Destroyer.
