Steam overlay crashes the game

- Description of Issue - Opening the steam overlay crashes the game. My PC specs are below average (Processor Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-7700 CPU @ 3.60GHz 3.60 GHz, Installed RAM 16.0 GB (15.9 GB usable), Graphics Card NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 3GB (3 GB), Intel(R) HD Graphics 630 (128 MB)), however the gameplay itself is smooth at around 45-50fps. This is mainly of particular concern as I would greatly like to participate in future battle passes and skin releases, and am currently unable to in any way as Lux is not purchasable from the Steam store page.
- Rough Date and Time of issue - Consistently, whenever steam overlay is opened. Most recently ~7:40pm EST 05/26/2026

We are aware of situations where the Steam overlay can cause issues with Marathon.
We are currently looking into these situations.
