item lost
The server crashed around 4 p.m. while I was in a game match. I logged out but couldn't sign back in. Now I can finally log on, yet my lost items haven't been returned. I’m not asking you to restore the items I picked up during the match. Why won’t your company even return my own gear that I brought into the game?

We're sorry to hear the you lost your gear following the server issues and disconnect you experienced while in a match.
Please know that Marathon is currently undergoing maintenance. Which may have contributed to the issue. For future reference, we recommend consulting our Server and Update Status page for updates regarding ongoing maintenance or server issues.
Regarding lost items, support is not able to manually restore any lost items or progress. In cases where a qualifying server-side error occurs, any item recovery is handled automatically by the game systems.
There's no ongoing maintenance right now. This was purely a server issue on your end, which qualifies for item recovery. So why haven't my items been returned?
Besides, many players I know also haven't had their gear restored. Is this what a top-tier game company does? No wonder Slay the Spire 2 outshines you by a huge margin.
It is deeply frustrating to receive a response attributing this to maintenance that hadn’t begun when this issue did and is persisting after the maintenance concluded. (Even if there will be no item recovery offered, a better response would be to acknowledge that it was a server side error and owning that responsibility instead of attempting to put the responsibility on the player for not having checked the maintenance schedule. 🙄)
