Continue waiting bug
This happened on steam / pc
12:30 am pst 05/26/26 during the mass bungie outage affecting all 3 live service games.
The servers full on crashed earlier this evening and while trying to sign in after they came back up, my crew and I got hit with the perpetual endless loop of continue waiting for the results to finalize or proceed to the lobby and forfeit the loot.
This bug has been reported multiple times since the game has gone live and people are met with the exact same vague post from bungie support redirecting them to a network connection troubleshooting page and full on abadoning the support ticket/page everytime this issue is brought up.
It's been brought up on reddit, on the official discord, and on these forums many times with ZERO concrete resoultion from the team in any capacity.
Not a single person from the support staff / core dev team has offered any competent answers on this anywhere.

We’re aware of reports involving disconnects during server issues, including cases where players later saw the “Continue Waiting” prompt after the run had effectively ended, and that behavior is under investigation.
For lost gear, Support isn’t able to manually restore loot or progress. When a qualifying server-side error occurs, any refund that can be offered is handled automatically by the game systems rather than manually through Support. Gear refunds only apply to a subset of server error conditions, and Bungie attempts to return starting gear for affected players when those conditions are met.
If you haven’t already, please reply with your Bungie Name (including the 4 digits), platform, and the approximate date/time this happened. If you have a clip of the incident, please include that as well, upload it to Youtube, and we will be glad to take a closer look.
