Please confirm the specfic conditions and nades that satisfy this requirement.

My understanding is:

You have to down and full kill one runner with a nade - they can't take damage from any other source.

Then, you have to down and full kill another run runner with melee - no finisher - also, they can't take any damage from any source.

I have done this like 20 times, at least 5 in solo, and yet to unlock the codex entry.

The kill feed shows i have done the correct actions. In solo i'm 100% sure they havent taken any damage (i have done 2 runs where i never fired a shot, and didn't knife the runner i naded. Equally, didn't nade the runner i knifed)

Question, why can't it just be kill or down? Its needlessly unfun to unlock.

Question, as they can only take damage from your knife/nade, do they need to be full health? If they take fall damage, bot damage, etc, does this void the attempt? If so, how long until i can engage them once healed?

I have spent nearly 20 hours trying to do this and it is madding. I'm 99% sure its bugged.

    Thank you for reaching out to us.

    We understand you're experiencing difficulty completing the Hammer/Anvil Codex challenge. Our understanding of this challenge is that you need to do the following in a single run:

    • One Runner killed entirely by melee damage (no finisher, no grenade, no bullets finishing them off).
    • A different Runner killed entirely by a grenade (no bullets or melee touching them after the nade connects).

    If you accomplish the above without this challenge registering you have, then please consider capturing a videoclip of what you experience. If you record such a clip, you can then upload it to a site like Youtube, and link us to it here. We'll then review and see what other details we may need for further investigation.

    Hi, thanks for the response.

    That must be incorrect, i have done exactly that many, many times.

    I will try to record, but tricky on xbox mid fight.

    Can you confirm, if i down a runner and then kill them with a nade, and then do the same with a melee, should that work?

    Or

    Does it have to be a down and a kill - with no other damage taken by either runner at all (before or after the down)?

    I.e can i shoot them, and once down nade/melee them?

    Some clarity would be great.

    Can you also confrim what nades actually work? I'm certian emp, flech, and chem don't, so i assume only frag does.

    P.S. if this feedback could be passed up, it would be great. Lots of people seem to be struggling with this. It's s vauge, a massive resoucre and time sink and very unfun. Like needlessly unfun.

    In clip 1 i kill a runner with a frag and in clip 2 i kill a runner with a knife
