Two bugs blocking completion of Paradigm Shift 5/5

Encountered two separate bugs that blocked me from completing this contract in the same play session

• Bungie name: Crispy Toast#2490
• Platform: Steam
• Description of first issue: Objective marker disappeared and object became no longer interactable. I made it to Bio-Research within the first 2-3 minutes, got close enough to see the marker, but had to stop to fight a runner on the catwalk just outside the objective room. The marker was still visible 10m away when I stopped to loot the runner, but when I exited their bag the marker was gone. No one else had come by and used it. There were still at least 2 minutes left on this step of the contract. The objective just vanished for no reason.
• Description of second issue: The completed contract resets after ending the run. I did the contract properly, got the samples, deposited them in a DCON, all steps read as complete, ONI said "priority contract complete," and I even successfully exfiled. But then in the results screen, the contract showed as uncompleted. Incredibly demoralizing and demotivating for an already unreasonable contract to just not give you credit when you finally do pull it off.
• Rough date and time of issue: Sunday May 17th, 3-4pm PT
• Repro steps: I am not attempting this contract again just for it to fail again. It's too miserable of a mission even when it doesn't bug out. Suppose this post isn't the place to get into it, but the design of this contract has gotta be a top all-time worst video game experience for me. There's so much wrong with it.

No links to share for this but I'll probably be recording all my gameplay going forward just in case. This is incredibly frustrating and if I can do anything that helps contribute to getting issues like this fixed, then I want to.

UPDATE: Alright I had my "fine just one more run" moment and wound up getting it because I had an idea. I don't know if this actually solved one of the bugs or if I just got lucky, but what I did differently this time was just take ONE of the three samples from Bio-Research and put it in the DCON. I'm mostly a solo player, and I had a moment of realization that the reason there's three samples is probably so a full crew doing this contract together can all complete it together, and not that you actually need to DCON all three samples yourself if you're solo. So maybe somehow the issue of the contract not retaining completion after exfil is related to a solo player putting multiple samples in the DCON? If that is the cause, then hopefully it shouldn't be too difficult to fix. I mean if nothing else works I guess just put a footnote on the contract that says something like "only take one sample per runner."
