Game freezes every minute or so for 5-10 seconds
I play on Steam and ever since the new update on April 28, on start up, my game freezes for 5-10 seconds every minute or so and I have done everything that online guides have suggested. I have cleaned my pc of dust, restarted my computer, reinstalled my drivers for AMD, set Marathon off of CPU 0, verified my game files, ran a malware scan, everything. From what it looks like in my AMD software, the game takes both my GPU clocking speed and power usage to 0 on every freeze, and I have no clue how to replicate it other than just waiting every minute or so in the lobby with 5-10 second freezes.

We understand that, despite extensive troubleshooting, Marathon is freezing for you on Steam. We're sorry to hear of this, as we can imagine how this may have caused concern. Given the troubleshooting you have performed, it does seem strange you're still experiencing this freezing. So we can assess the possible cause of this freezing, could you please provide us with a copy of your DxDiag? You can copy and paste it over on PasteBin and reply with the viewing link.
In addition to the DxDiag, please clarify whether when Marathon freezes, if you need to exit the game. Or is it more that the freezing stutters the game? Once we have these details and the DxDiag, we'll review.
Same with mine. It just keeps freezing and I get disconnected from the game ever since the update.
Also to reiterate, this problem that I have been having has only started after the new update today.
